Any healthy appetizer ideas?
I'd rather ask from people who have tried it- since my last two "book recipe attempts" tasted yucky!
We're having dinner at my best friends Saturday and I want to bring something nice but healthy :)
Thanks girlies!

Re: Any healthy appetizer ideas?
What about bruschetta? Use fresh tomatoes and basil, fat free zesty italian dressing, mozzarella, and shredded parmigiana reggiano. Top on small slices of toasted french bread. Yum yum yum!

Re: Any healthy appetizer ideas?
How about multigrain bread or crackers with diced or sliced tomatoes and balsamic vinaigrette dressing (from Cheesecake factory!).

Re: Any healthy appetizer ideas?
I love fresh mozzarella w/ tomato & fresh basil, you can do a little olive oil sea salt & black pepper drizzle, or mix a little balsamic for a drizzle. Cut big slices and stack them. I also love homemade hummus. Super easy to make & you can dip veggies, pita chips, basically anything into it.
eta: lettuce wraps are another fav so good w/ some type of shredded meat pork works well or chicken
I also make a buffalo chicken whole wheat stromboli w/ red fat cheese, you cook the whole roll then slice to serve always a hit.
If you need any more info let me know.
