Any other January mommies kind of freaking out?

I'll be 20 weeks on Friday, I cant believe I'm half way there! Once the summer is over, meaning September we were gonna start painting the nursery. October we are gonna be setting up the closet, November I guess we start setting up whatever we will have at that point then December do all the finishing touches and get everything sanitized and ready. I'm due 1/16 but I have a feeling I'm gonna go the beginning of Jan, Idk why but I've felt that way since the beginning. So now that the registering is over the real prep work starts and since it went this fast since my BFP, seems like yesterday I cant imagine how fast this will go, especially with the holidays!! This time of year always goes fast. I just get a little overwhelmed bc I'm such a planner! lol. I'm so excited and anxious and nervous, but I guess this is normal lol.

Enjoy it!! It really does go SO fast. I was due Jan 15 of this year, so I was exactly where you are now a year ago, and now I have two almost 8 month olds!
Rub your belly every day and savor every second! I miss being pregnant all the time.

We've decided to find out the sex this time so we're holding off on doing anything baby related until my Level II sono( this baby cooperates!). I think once that happens reality will set in that this baby is on it's way!

Thanks Lauren, now that I can finally feel the baby, from the inside and outside I love it! I think thats whats making it so real now too, this baby moves so much!

And Doreen, my level II is tomorrow!! But since we're team and hopefully staying that way, lol, we didnt really have to wait to do anything but I think doing anything earlier than this would be a little much for me.

I'm with you 100% . Im 21 weeks.

This week I'm scheduling our birthing class and hospital tour.

The beginning of October we are painting the nursery and ordering our furniture.

The end of October/beginning of November we'll be interviewing pediatricians.

At the end of November, I'll be packing the bag. I think.... hope this child comes the week before Christmas, so I want to be prepared.

My shower is a surprise but I know the invites went out already. (My mom lives upstate and has lung cancer that has spread, so it had to be scheduled earlier than norm b/c she has a very strict chemo/radiation schedule. She wants to be down here the last 2 weeks of Dec, first 2 of Jan so that is another reason.)

omg Athina! I forgot about the hospital tour!! I guess I should call for that. I'm also going to a Viacord seminar on 9/20 that I forgot about lol. I'm such an awesome planner. I knew I was forgetting something! I dont know when my shower is either, but I just finished registering yesterday and since my mom came with me she knows I'm done, so I guess she should be planning something... I hope lol.

ETA: I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, Athina. I'll be praying for her!

thank you. she was diagnosed may 08, a few months before we got married so its been a non-stop thing for over a year.

I'll be 20 weeks on Thursday! We haven't even started registering or thinking about the room yet...we're waiting to find out what we're having

I've scheduled all of my hopsital classes. I didn't know that I have to do a class with Viacord..what's that for?

Yes!!!!!! One dya I feel like it's ok...It's the end of Aug and we're not due until Jan 20th and then the next day I'm freaking out because it's soooooooo close My plans this far are: IKEA the middle of Sept for the baby furniture, move furniture over from mom's to our guest room. Have guest room repainted and set up by Sept 20th since inlaws are staying, go to vegas, October start setting up furniture and bedding in nursery, Nov 15 is shower, and then just nest nest nest until Peanut comes. I'm calling today to start setting up the lamaz classes and i'm doing the LLL breastfeeding classes in our area with another friend of mine who is due in Dec. My OBis great about keepin gus on track so for the most part I don't feel to bad...BUT I worry that with Thanksgiving and Christmas i'll be losing almost a month of "planning/nesting" do to the holidays

i'm due in february, but reading all your responses makes me so excited for you guys!!! now i'm excited about feeling all this excitement next month :)

I'm due January 18, and I'm so not prepared. I still need to finish registering. I haven't been freaking out yet though because I'm still focused on other things, we leave on September 5 for our wedding honeymoon 9 days in Maui, then I have 3 different receptions after that, September 19, 26th and October 10. We are also looking for a new house, so I'm not setting up anything in a baby room until hopefully we get into the new house! I think once the wedding stuff is over I'll be freaking out too!

I'm due Jan 20 and not prepared at all.

We find out the sex tomorrow so i'll start shopping then. If it is another boy I wont have to buy nearly as much.

I still need to look for a double stroller another crib, carseat, etc..

Ill be 20 weeks on Sunday and we haven't done jack!! Level II is next week.

I'm not freaking out yet, but you're right this summer has flown by! I still haven't registered yet and being Team Green makes it harder. We had our Level II today, but Peanut was not cooperative so I have to go back again in two weeks. It still doesn't feel real to me sometimes. I've gained 6 pounds, but for the most part I'm still wearing my prepregnancy clothes and I never had any sickness or other symptoms (other than peeing a hundred times a night). I keep saying that if DH and I weren't TTC I'd be one of the girls on I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant Well, that and now Peanut does acrobatics at night!

Don't stress though, we still have plenty of time, you'll have things done in no time

Very excited too!! Due on 1/17 but I have a feeling I will go sooner than that. DS was born 5 days early so, we'll see... I will be 20 weeks this coming Saturday and my Level II is next Thursday - hope the baby cooperates
