Toss up. Advantages to both.
First week of November can be slightly more crowded. Think level of 4-5 mostly with 6-7 on weekends. Warmers weather low 80s is average so good swimming. You could do the Halloween party if you are there on Halloween.
1st week of December. Thankgiving weekend would be crowded but the week are crowd levels of 4. Cooler temps, upper 70/s could be lower 80s. Christmas parade tapes 12/6would be crowded. Might be able to do the Christmas party which starts in Nov. It runs three nights. Earlier park closing in Dec than in Nov.
Later in the year you go more chance of the flu or stomach bugs going around versus the Fall (but I wouldn't pick my dates based on this....just pointing it out).
If you look at the Touring Plans site, which many people have said is pretty dead on, they don't have crowds that high at all for first week in November. In fact, except for MK which they have at around 4 the other parks are all around 1-3 depending on the day.
I use to live in FL for a few years, those few weeks leading into Thanksgiving are awesome, it's usually so quiet because everyone is in school. Same for the 2-3 weeks leading into Xmas. Once you hit the week of the holiday though it's an insane nightmare. Xmas week is brutal.
The temps are much better, like you said, that time of year too. You won't melt. Bonus for me since I hate the heat!!
Touring plans are good but not as accurate as easy wdw. They pick certain parks certain days but then randomly pick the other, which often is not correct. I used both my last two trips and easy wdw was spot on. Whereas touring plans said very low like a 2 or 3 when it was actually much more crowded. The concession for at least a year is that easy wdw is more accurate.
Also 1st week of Nov is jersey week which can bring slightly higher crowds. Other parts of the country have started having breaks end of oct beg of nov wich makes crowds slightly higher.
We are not talking about a huge difference but yes slightly larger.
Etd to add also people caught on to quiet times and if you look at easywdw or disboards people say after going for years the crowds are slowly getting bigger bc of free dining and other discounts. Still a good time to go, but slightly higher than say 3-5 years ago.
I'm going to check out easywdw. Thanks!!!!!
It's hard to pick a time to go. I got so spoiled living down there a few years ago, I have little tolerance for big Disney crowds.
The best thing about easywdw is that it is FREE!! Listen I still get TP but I found we followed Josh's touring plans, FP hints and tips and we saw more than any other trip. He even breaks down the restaurants with picture reviews etc. such a helpful site.
Can you link Josh's touring plans?
We got screwed on our last trip (1st week of March). TP predicted low crowds but I thought it was very crowded. The apps I downloaded were totally off. The actual wait times shown at the ride was also off. Not sure if it was because of the new FP+ system as it was just implemented.
All I know is I need a new touring plan!

Easywdw.com
Not sure about March but in I know there were changes when they let off site start online booking of FP.
I will say I say a ton of complaints about FP+ but we used the same or more with less stress than other trips.
We only did 3 rope drops and three late arrivals (think arriving between 11 to 12 or 12:30. We rope dropped 2 days at MK and one morning at EPCOT and late arrivals at AK and MK after sleeping in, swimming then heading over.
The ONLY complaint I had with the system as it was May 10-17th was you can only book 3 in ONE park. So we did rope drop one day at EPCOT then took the boat to HS around 130. Both parks have tiering. I could only book at HS my FPs. I would have preferred to say book one at EPCOT and two at HS but you must use three in your first park to get a fourth and so one in your second park. We really wanted TSM so we FPed that and skipped FPs at EPCOT. Otherwise we got 6 FPs a day. I scheduled our FPs for mornings or early afternoon. We picked things that Josh had top of his list. Then once we used our three we would go to the kiosk and figure out what we wanted to ride that had a 45-60+ min wait and would pick that. Everytime we got a FP that was good in 5-15 mins from picking it. We could have kept doing this but we were ready to go back to the hotel.
We did waste the extra ones the last night. We wanted to FP the parade bc we got bad spots for the fireworks last year and wanted to ensure we could see it this year. It is not for everyone but we were only going to be in the MK late one night so it was worth it for us. We just stayed put after the parade and people filled in around us for a decent fireworks spot. This means you sacrifice getting more than three FPs. I suggest you FP the most popular things like...A&E, 7 drawfs mine train, ETWB, the mountains. Parades. The parades, new roller coaster and A&E will be gone well in advance. Other things (major attractions) will have limited availability. You might get them but maybe not the times you would like.

I am going week after 11/29 - 12/6, it's rated the #1 week to go as respects to the crowds and it's decorated for Christmas
This! We just did these dates this past November. Left on Friday right after Thanksgiving and stayed a week. Was perfect
