Anyone else excited that their babies will be born in a new administration??
I am!
I remember learning who was President when I was born (Ford), and I am so happy that our little ones will be born under someone who really stands for a change.
What a great thing for them to learn when they start learning about US Presidents-- really a sign of a new generation.
Anyway, that's just my 2¢.

I was thinking the same thing the other day. Yes, I totally agree with you and so excited that this president that our children are going to learn about is making history.
Funny to think that the history  is going to learn is stuff that happened in our lives. Boy, I'm gonna feel real old when I look in their History Book and say... Oh, I remember that. LOL

Yes, I was just thinking that. My two boys have been born under the Bush administration and I'm glad to have at least one child born with Obama as her president!

Same here. I am not big into politics, though. I think alot of my view points would make many people annoyed.

Funny you should post this. DH and I were just talking about this last night. I am so thrilled. They will live in a world where dreams are possible and hardwork pays off. I am hopeful about the world they will live in.

But I'm happy my baby will be born into a time where a black man can be the president -
totally agree. i am a little skeptical about how much change will actually happen. i don't necessarily consider it a 'new administration'.
but i am extremely proud that my children will be growing up in an age where a black man can be president, and where a woman could also have become president.

Yes i am actually very excited about this. Though history was never my favorite subject i look forward to telling about our times and how things have changed. His is gonna be born this year with history in the making. Just feels like such a fresh start to me. Again that is just my opinion.
