Anyone else have a baby that won't drink formula when it's hot out?!
Logan is 10 mos - Our ped doesn't discuss whole milk until the 1 yr appt.
It's a struggle to get him to drink his formula now! He only takes about 3-5oz and then turns away. He had less than 20oz yesterday.
He LOVES water- when he refuses the formula, he'll take water. Doesn't like juice.
He's eating 3 meals a day (veggie, fruit and cereal) in addition to a yogurt, puffs, crunchers, pretzels, strawberries, and veggie crisps. Sometimes he'll have scrambled eggs and ham, or whatever we're having for dinner.
He still NEEDS formula though, right? Could it just be that he doesn't want it bc its hot?

its 2pm and he's at 6oz for the whole day so far.
I'm giving him all the water he wants so he doesnt dehydrate..

is he making wet diapers? if so, then I wouldn't worry about it.

with the food, yes.
my DD is the same way, she goes through spurts where she doesn't want to eat.
I'm sure it's the heat.

My DD is the same way! She had about 12 oz. today but an ENTIRE sippy of water and several sips from our water bottles. We wasted about 18 oz  I'm hoping she wakes up (went to bed 6:30) to give her a good 6oz bottle. This is a constant struggle with DD and usually now only has about 15-20oz tops of formula per day. PED is not concerned and told us to stay at 3 meals. I mix formula into her purees whenever I can. DD is 8 months. I can't wait until no more formula and neither can she
