Anyone ever get a random allergic reaction?

This is so weird.
I don't have any food allergies that I am aware of.
Last night DH and I had pizza for dinner- I have been eating pizza all my life.
This pizza was from the same place we have been using for years and it was just a regular plain pie. Nothing else.

A little while after finishing, my neck started to itch a bit and my face as well.
It started getting really annoying.
When I looked in the mirror I noticed a small hive or 2 on my neck.
I put some cortizone cream on my neck and the parts of my face that were itchy.
I also popped a Zyrtec.

It cleared up, but left me

The only thing I had with the pizza was a Snapple which I have also had 100 times before.

What on earth could that have been?
Am I suddenly allergic to something that I wasn't allergic to before?
Or could it be unrelated to my food?

Anyone else have this happen?

Could be unrelated to your food. I sometimes get hives out of nowhere. But you can become allergic to something you weren't allergic to before.

Since my thyroid started to act up, I am allergic to so many things! Nuts, Berries, Shellfish, Aspirin, Advil.. The list goes on.

Pay attention to yourself. Take not of any weird reactions to certain things and write it down. Thats how I found out I was allergic to cranberries. I would get itchy red nose every time I drank cranberry juice. After the 3rd time I was LIKE OMG it's the Juice!!! LoL DUHH
