I don't. (sorry)

But if anyone does, please let me know if you thought it was worth the $$? I thought my 3 weeks in Italy with DH and his family would do the trick...but no such luck. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I don't, but, did you try Ebay for a used one?

Perhaps they would have one that would be less $$$?

my friend gets it through the army and I used it a few times.

totally worth it.

I've taken it in college, been to Italy NUMEROUS times, and I still forget so easily.

I'd just like to be fluent and get on with it.

even watching RAI every sunday doesn't help it stick as well as I'd like.

dh is better than I am...and we manage to get along while we are over there...but I'd just like to go and speak without as many errors or interjecting english words.

Good to know. Thanks. I would love to be fluent as well, especially when visiting DH's family there or even going to my ILs. I even lived in Italy for a few months...but since I was able to get by on my spanish, I didn't really force myself to learn it. Chat Icon

I've been wanting to get the Italian Rosetta too but don't want to spend hundreds for it.. I wonder if the library would have it... I doubt it b/c it's so expensive, but maybe

ETA: My DH & his ENTIRE family are all fluent and speak nothing but italian when they are together.. (his parents are "off the boat" as they say) I hate not knowing whats going on Chat Icon

Did you try the public library and see if they have a subscription?

The public library where I work also has an online program called Auralog. It is free, you just need to use your library card barcode and then set up an account.

Check your library!!
