Anyone have a quick, fun, easy cake recipe?
I have done the KitKat cake already. I am ready to do something else. I have never made a cake from scratch - but if it is easy, i am willing to try TIA

Re: Anyone have a quick, fun, easy cake recipe?
well this is by NO MEANS homemade, but it sure was delicious!!
i made this last week for DH's bday and had his family over. everyone (EVERYONE!!) wanted a second slice.
i used confetti cake and DH's favorite icecream: BR's jamocha almond fudge. mmmmm.
just thinking about all the wonderful possible combination of flavors makes me drool!! mmm

Making a cake from scratch is insanely easy. There's really no diference from a mix - except you're putting in more ingredients. When I realized this I decided no more box cakes/cupcakes for me.
ETA: The same goes for frosting!

I love the chocolate cake recipe on the back of the Hershey's cocoa container. Only uses one bowl, it's so easy.

I think I'd use vanilla so it won't compete with the gingerbread.

OMGoodness this sounds fantastic, and sooo easy. I think for Christmas I'm going to do red velvet cake with mint-chocolate-chip ice cream. Then I'll sprinkle chopped candy canes over the glaze!!

Re: Anyone have a quick, fun, easy cake recipe?
I think I will make this for my husband with peanut butter cup or reeses ice cream and chocolate cake! Also just realized my egg and nut allergic son can have this. I usually make them cakes with pumpkin. Thanks for posting!
