Anyone have an Extremely happy baby/toddler...
For example... Your DC never got separation anxiety, they will go to anyone, they are always happy (accept for rare occasions ), u can leave them with anyone and know that they wont mind (even though u wont just leave them with anyone LOL) but u get the idea. Very personable ..etc....
My DD is this way.. I wonder is it luck of the draw or situational??

DS is that way...even today with a 105 fever he was still giggling and laughing and playing. i think it is the luck of the draw. I am amazed by him all the time as to how easy going he is ---hope I didn't just jinx myself!

Re: Anyone have an Extremely happy baby/toddler...
DD is very much the way you described except for when she is very tired or we've had a very busy couple of days like around the holidays. Then she gets what DH calls a "case of the mommies" when she only wants me. This is rare though.
She really only cries when she's very tired or if a stranger gets too in her face...or when getting shots.
I consider us VERY lucky with this happy go lucky little baby

DS is this way too. It scares me for Baby #2. DH and I are very lucky and thankful, but we're certain our next baby will be a terror!

dd is like that as well - she is such a pleasure to be around, always happy and smiling. She goes to anyone without complaint. If I could guarantee they'd ll be like her, I'd have 20 babies!!!!

My DS is. We figure that it is karma working in our favor for the miserable pregnancy I had.

My 5 1/2 year old was like that as a baby/toddler. He's still very personable wherever I go people remember him and rave over his personality.

Re: Anyone have an Extremely happy baby/toddler...
Ds walks up to complete strangers and gives them hugs. I can't say he's always happy, because he certainly has his moments, but as a whole, he's a complete joy to be around.

Re: Anyone have an Extremely happy baby/toddler...
Um no. Hardly She's very tempermental and has a pretty short fuse With that said, she has no sep. anxiety though. She will go with almost anyone without issue!

Re: Anyone have an Extremely happy baby/toddler...
My kid loves strangers and will have everyone in love with him in two seconds. I cant shop without him flirting and us getting stopped by ten people to admire him...
BUTTTTTTTTT
once we walk away, All hell breaks loose and hes very tempermental around me, so hes a charmer , but not neccesarily happy.

Re: Anyone have an Extremely happy baby/toddler...
Sabrina is a very happy baby (thank God). She smiles often, flirts with boys, is very personable. I think I am lucky. She goes to strangers well and overall is a sweet baby. She is also a baby who people remember and like.
My mom said I was like this. She attributes it to the nice interaction she had with me.

DD is this way. She is a complete dream during the day. NOTICE** I said DAY. At night she is a beast.
I guess I'd rather have her be a sweet, sunny baby during the day....

Re: Anyone have an Extremely happy baby/toddler...
Yup, my son is exactly like that. Very secure, will be happy with anyone. He loves men especially, yesterday I took him to a birthday party and he spent the afternoon playing with cars with my best friends uncle. Very sweet. He loves daycare, love other kids, always come back to check in with me at playgroup. He does get bored easily and he whinges when he is bored, but other than that, he is a happy chappy!
I should also say that out bedtime routine is a dream, we all enjoy it and he asks to go to bed when he is ready. He sleeps his 12 hours and in general, is a lovely boy.
But I had a TERRIBLE first six months with him, so I deserve this!

Re: Anyone have an Extremely happy baby/toddler...
Jack can be passed around to 20 different people and he is fine.
That being said, when he is tired - all hell breaks loose. He gets nutty.
He has a good disposition though and is really happy most of the day.

Re: Anyone have an Extremely happy baby/toddler...
Steven is very much like that.
He sometimes cries when I leave for work, but that's because he wants to go outside and play, not because he doesn't want me to leave
