Anyone's child get constipated on vacation or just refuse to poop?

Anyone's child get constipated on vacation or just refuse to poop?
So DH, DD and I went away from Saturday to Tuesday and DD didn't poop the whole time. She peed every day and used the potty like a champ for that. But she refused to poop. I told her to poop in her pull up. I just wanted her to get it out of her. But she said no and cried and got angry.
When we got home she went right away.
I am now nervous she will be like this whenever we travel and that would not be good for a longer trip.
Any ideas? Suggestions?

My son doesn't like to poop anywhere but home. has fear of new toilet I guess. However, my son is a big pooper (needs to go everyday sometimes twice or else has belly pain issues) so when we go away he does try to hold it as long as he can but eventually it does come out. It is bad because he gets so cranky from holding it. I just keep encouraging it when he does try and try not to talk about it too much.

Not me, but my niece has this issue.
And honestly, it isn't fun for them, when we were on a family vacation back in July there were a lot of tears surrounding going on the potty and my SIL ended up putting her in one of DS' diapers to go
I honestly didn't answer you yesterday b/c it wasn't exactly positive feedback and really may be soley my niece that had this extreme of an issue.

My daughter has had this problem not just on vacation. My ped told me to give her Miralax when she doesn't go. It's non habit forming and easy on their system. It always works for us.

My son had the complete opposite problem. He got diarrea for a week straight after his MMR/Polio vaccination.
