hi

Are MnMs allowed in school (re nuts)?

Does anyone know MnMs are allowed to be given out in school due to nut concerns?

Entirely depends on the class, if they are eaten there, taken home, and if they are individually wrapped.

They are not peanut allergy friendly.

i think most schools allow them, but they are NOT peanut friendly since they're made in the same factory as the peanut M&Ms

Not good to send in. It will also say on the package that an m&m nut candy might be found inside too.

Right, not good to send in IF these are being given out in a class that has an allergy. Hard to gauge from the OP. Our school has tons of peanut allergies, but none in my DD's class, so I would have no issue sending in M&Ms.
