There isn't one. I was just curious. I got to thinking about my IRL friends and how none of them smoke, so I was wondering about my online ones  And really, what's the point of posting a lot of stuff that is posted on here....
I don't smoke, never have. I grew up with parents that were chain smokers though. I guess that's what turned me off to it.

I quit when I got my BFP with Josh. I slowly returned after he was born. I didnt smoke nearly the amount that I did before him but I did smoke just the same. Then I got my BFP last week and I havent picked one up since. It has been 10 full days and I dont even have a craving. Maybe the morning, noon, and night MS has somethig to do with it but I still quit

I am.  Quit when I started IVF then started again 2 months ago......although no where near as much as I did b4. Plan on starting to quit when I go back to work next week. Honestly I don't even know why I do it...it's so much work...I'm "hiding" a.k.a. no one knows that I started up again except DH, my sis and BFF.

Was when I was in college, then a year or so afterwards. Quit for 3 years and slowly went back to smoking like I did in college (which was usually a 1/2 pack a day). When DH and I move in together it was more like 2-3 a day.
Then I more or less became a social smoker for a few years....then the day I got my BFP I quit. Never had an issue when I was pregnant and swore i would not go back.
Then slowly with the stress of having 2 newborns and being able to drink wine again I went back to social smoking. Now I am still at that....maybe 2-3 a week. I hate that i do it, but I really like it when I have a glass or two of wine.
I'm not making excuses, but right now it works for me. Like I have told DH many a time...no one will make someone quit until that person is ready to. I am almost there, but not yet. 2-3 a week for me (compared to what it was) is pretty good right now for me.
I know the risks, etc., you don't need to tell me....It's just where I am with it.

I was down to 4 cigarettes when I was TTCing and the second I saw the "pregnant" on the pg test, I quit and never went back.

me...never bu DH used to BIG time back when we were just friends but i made him quit if he wanted to date me because its such a horrible habbit....but he does sneak cigars here and there and i pretend i don't notice

I'm not and have never been interested in trying. I'm just lucky I guess bc I know how addicting it is...I'm actually surprised I never got involved in it.

I didn't ask why people smoke, I asked who smoked. Many other topics come up over and over all the time and no one gets snarky about it. It's on parenting because I was curious how many "parents" are smokers

Me too. I was just thinking about it this week when I saw someone smoking. I think ALL of my friends have at least tried it but I never did. I was too chicken. I also didn't drink until I was much older than my friends and even then I never got trashed. I think I have been REALLY drunk only a handful of times.

I saw how cigarettes basically killed my grandfather and early on I knew I never wanted to be like that

DH on the other hand quit 4x since we met & although he promised in the hospital he would never smoke now that he has DD, I know he smokes at work & in his car when I'm not around it makes me very upset/disappointed.

I quit with DD#2 then started 3 mnths after I had her now Im prego with DD#3 and quit again but I am soooo dying for one hopefully I dont go back I dont want to
