i strongly recommend getting one - my girlfriend still uses hers to rock her 18-month-old to sleep!

I do as well. This is the one thing in the nursery that I cannot live without.

I would definitely say to test a bunch out and see what you like. I wanted something with a high back, but it had to be upholstered. It took me a while to find one I was comfortable with.

I had one and gave it away. I hated it and never used it.

We have a chair now from my grandmother that we put in the nursery but it is not a glider. It is really just someplace for me to rest and put my feet upChat Icon

This is the one we're getting:

Our Glider

It's expensive but we knew we wanted one and so many are stiff and uncomfortable! Plus, our plan is to eventually use this in the living room.

There's one from walmart I like.
It's Espresso with baby blue upholstery. It's going for 157.00 with ottoman included! NOT BAD!!!!

Is this the wide glider? Im looking for ideas to give my FIL whom is insisting on getting us one. I like the wide ones and one that reclines. does this one do that

I wasn't going to get one, but I decided to. I said on the ones that look like chairs not rockers, and they are so comfortable. BRU is also having a sale this weekend if you buy both the glider and ottaman its 50% off.

can you tell me where that is advertised? I went on the website and didn't see it

BRU saturday sale

If that doesn't work, send me you email address to FM and I'll forward you the email.

The link worked, thanks so much!! Chat Icon

I'm not sure if it's wide or not, but it does recline.

YES. we have dutalier glider. it has been absolutely essential!!! although unlike lots of the above posters, i didn't use the glider for BFing. when i was BFing i actually did it in bed or on the couch or wherever. the glider actually became crucial at about 3 months when we started putting ds in his crib. we used it to rock him/give him a bottle at bedtime, and still do to this day (he is 14 months).

I received my glider at my baby shower. The one I chose only cost $185.00.
It works very good, hasn't given me problems yet. Check on BRU site.

If you have a two level house with bedrooms upstairs, it's very important. I use mine every night, you want somewhere super comfy to sit to feed and rock baby at night.
