You have a little bit of time to decide b.c they can't get them until 6 months.
I gave them to both my girls last year. DD#1 was in preschool and the children all have multiple older siblings and things do go around even when the parents are diligent.
I gave them both last year - and with DD#1 in school again and DD#2 taking classes I figure it is a good idea for our family.
Besides it is often DH who brings home a lot of bugs into our home. He is the one who tends to spread it to the girls.

Yes. I have in the past and have had no problems at all (knock wood )
As a teacher I want them to be protected from all the germs I may pick up
My parents, DH and I all get it as well. DH already got it when he took DD to the ped the other week

I am pretty sure your DC cant have it at 4 months, I think 6 months.
And yes, my DD will be getting it

Probably, but DH and I haven't discussed it yet. DS is in pre-school so it seems like the smart thing to do. DH gets it every year too.

No. I got the shot a few years ago and so did DS. We both got the full on flu within 2 days of receiving the shot when we had not been in contact with anyone who actually had the flu. I think we are in the small percent of the population that actually gets sick from the vaccine and my son's ped agreed with me. He ran some tests and had it confirmed that we had the exact strain from the vaccine. So none of us, DH, DS, DD or I will be getting the flu shot because it actually makes us sick. So to those of you who get it, THANK YOU, because I really appreciate it.
