Arghhh! Moms of boys question
Any tips on how to get DS not to pee all over himself and me EVERY time I change his diaper? He's going through a million outfits a day at this point!

You have to put a washcloth over the penis until the very last second before you close up the diaper. They sell a commercial product to cover it but I always has a washcloth nearby and covered them up with it and threw it in the wash if they wet it (lots of times LOL)

I used to fold up some tissues and put it over the um...area...during diaper changes.

I cover it but the minute I take it off to put on the A&D ointment, the little stinker pees! DH swears he WAITS until he's uncovered to make sure he gets us.

I cover DS with a baby wipe...clean all the rest of the area and put A&D on his hiney. Then when it's time to clean his pee pee I wipe with the baby wipe that is on the area....remove it and then put it back on for a few more seconds while I put the A&D on my finger. Remove the wipe...quick swipe with ointment and the diaper goes right over it. Once in a while he pees in the diaper and we start all over again but better than peeing on me or on himself.

i wish i had some advice for you, but my son not only pees during diaper changes, but somehow manages to pee OUT of his diaper! yesterday alone he went through 4 outfits and peed all over the cradle, changing table, and DH. 
i try to put a washcloth or wipe over his penis while i'm cleaning the rest of him, but nothing works! so now i just say a little prayer before each change

The best thing for me was to throw a cold wipe right on the peepee.. worked like a charm!

um, yeah we're having that problem too. its always his back that is soaked where i would think it would be his front  i have never done so much laundry in my life!

I never change him right when he wakes up from a nap or overnight. But other than that, its hit or miss.  The joys of having a boy!

Going through the same thing here--and I don't have enough preemie clothes, just a closet full of stuff that is too big right now!

TY! I tried this and actually managed to stay dry
This is pretty much what I did. DS doesn't do it so much anymore....but I always had to prepare before diaper changes!!
If he is peeing out of his diapers on a regular basis you might need to go up a size.

i bought the wee blocker (like the teepee) but when he moves around it moves and doesn't do the job...
Guess you just have to get that diaper on really fast!!
I've already gotten peed on quite a few times...and the other night he peed through his diaper onto my lap... i dont think i had that part of the diaper that goes around the leg completely out!!

I bought a pack of white cloth diapers JUST for this purpose!
I put one under him at all times and one on the side to cover him once the diaper comes off. If I don't have one on hand (when we're out) I use a wipe.
I have seen the wee-wee blockers, but DS is at the age now when he is grabbing ANYTHING in his reach, so I know THAT would be useless!
