Arm pain & numb fingers??
Okay so yet another symptom to add to the list:
Lately I've been having this funny feeling in my right arm, almost like pins & needles, felt mostly in the inside of my elbow and it travels down to my fingers (all except the thumb). I would be worried if it were my left arm, but since its my right arm I am thinking could it be some nerve compression/sciatica etc?
I have a dr's appointment tonight and will ask him then, but I was just curios if anyone else has felt this pain & what it may be?
TIA

Re: Arm pain & numb fingers??
Welcome to the Carpal Tunnel club.
It totally sux and can be very painful. It should go away a few weeks after birth. I wear a brace at night when I sleep and it really helps. I also have a daytime one for when it gets really bad.
I also did acupuncture during my last pregnancy and that helped as well.

Re: Arm pain & numb fingers??
Yes, it's an unfortunate symptom, but I'll take it over let's say...hemorroids! It does go away though.
I got the braces at CVS. The one for night is navy and have a squsihy gell thing in it.

Re: Arm pain & numb fingers??
I just started feeling this today in my right hand. It's in my inner wrist and travels up my arm, not quite to my elbow. I know it's PG related and also because I type all day. I have a brace at home, I might give that a try.

Re: Arm pain & numb fingers??
Carpal Tunnel is definately a symptom of pregnancy. Never knew it til I developed it. Then, in talking with people, I have found out it is pretty common. If it gets bad, I find the braces help. I sleep with them on

Re: Arm pain & numb fingers??
I had this throughout my entire first pregnancy. It sucks. Carpal Tunnel. It will go away after the baby is born. You may need to wear wrist support while you are sleeping, especially if you sleep with your arm under your pillow.
