PUHLEASE! How does an average writer who doesn't have much flare and wants to have a career as a blogger garner an audience? Pick a controversial topic and then take the unpopular side. Hope your article is picked up by a few mommy blogs and PRESTO, you have quadrupled (or more) your hits and can label yourself as "exceptional".
If this formula does not work, try, try again. Her other posts: Is The Point Of Having Kids Just To Not Be Lonely? When It Comes To Women There’s No Equality Gap, There’s An Ambition Gap Hillary Clinton Has Given Just As Much To This World As The Stay At Home Wife In My 11am Yogalates Class
As mothers, we have the benefit of experiencing life without children and then motherhood, so we can actually give a comparison based on true experience instead of mere conjecture. I also think that becoming a mother changes and expands your definition of exceptional to go beyond the realm of one's professional life. So she can continue to strive to be exceptional in the blog world, while I strive to maintain a balance between my work and home life, while hopefully nurturing my children to become exceptional in whatever way makes them fulfilled and happy!

Re: Article: I Look Down On Young Women With Husbands And Kids And I’m Not Sorry
I hear women talk about how “hard” it is to raise kids and manage a household all the time. I never hear men talk about this. It’s because women secretly like to talk about how hard managing a household is so they don’t have to explain their lack of real accomplishments. Men don’t care to “manage a household.” They aren’t conditioned to think stupid things like that are “important.”
I talk all the time with my coworkers and friends about how hard it is to manage a household. It is crazy hard. But that hasn't stopped me from having a tremendous amount of REAL accomplishments and success in my personal and professional life.
I'm surrounded by women who do it all.. and continue to add value to the organizations they work for, the community they live in and the homes that they "maintain".
I mean really, what a loser.

Who the hell cares? I am a married woman with 2 kids and could not care less about this woman's thoughts or comments, let alone be offended by them or get defensive over them. Her opinion means absolutely nothing in my world.
She has an opinion, as do the rest of us and has chosen to put it out there. No biggie in my book.
