at 23 weeks... how much weight did u gain?

I am at 13 lbs exactly and everyone is making me nervous i am not gaining enough


any one care to share?

im 20weeks and only gain 7lbs so far

at 20 weeks I was up 4lbs

by 24 weeks I was up 12lbs

I am 23 weeks tomorrow and I also have my appointment where I will get my updated weight. But so far I have gained 1 pound and my doctor is fine with it. I also was not big at all before I got pregnant - I was a size 0/2

at 23 weeks I think I was up 10 or 12 pounds. They say you gain the most of it at the end so I think your fine. Your doc would tell you if you werent gaining enough. Tell those people to mind their biz!

Isn't it funny how everyone thinks they are the know all of everything when they talk to you! I can't even tell you how many times I get a "you should do this or that" opinion. The other day one of the ladies at my job told me she was hoping I wasn't planinng on getting an epidural, its so bad, I'll have problems for years blah blah blah for a good 10 mins and I was like yeeeeeah I don't know about that, I dont want to feel the pain!

At 23 weeks I did not gain anything. I lost a lot of weight in the first trimester because I was so sick so by 23 weeks I was back to 0.

I am exactly 23 weeks with twins and have gained 23 pounds. So its been about a pound a week the nurse said that I am carrying the weight very good andthe doctor never mentions my weight, I am fine with it. I just want healthy children

4 lbs...but I puked a lot in the beginning.

With DD, I had gained about 10 lbs....not as sick.

4 lbs at 24 weeks

at 32, im up 13lb (as of today)

I only gained 16 lbs. my entire pregnancy (1st time). Don't worry...as long as your OB isn't concerned, it shouldn't be an issue.

In the same day I get people asking if I eat enough b/c I am not showing much at 20 weeks and then I get someone "reminding" me that maybe I should slow down since I have 20 weeks left.

You are skinny, you are going to have to gain more to make a comfortable home for baby! I think 13 lbs is perfect!

At 20w I am up 9lbs.

According to this: Weight Gain Calculator I am on the lower end of normal.

I'll be 23 weeks on Saturday and I'm just shy of 10lbs.

Don't worry about what others think. Everyone gains weight differently!

7 pounds at that point and my doctor did say I could/should be gaining more. He wasn't overly concerned though.

You are fine. I had gained 6 lbs at my last appt I think I was 24 weeks then.

I think I was on par with my weeks at that point- I was prob @ 20-22 lbs. at 23 weeks. I gained so much in the 2nd trimester and than it tapered off for the 3rd trimester. My dr. has never said anything to me about my gain. I believe I will hit 40 lbs. by the end. However, I'm 6' so 40 lbs. on me is like 30 lbs. on a shorter/average height girl (at least that's what I like to tell myself LOL).

at my 28 week appointment I had only gained 10 pounds!!!

at my 24 w appt, i was only up 6lbs over my pre-preg weight.

everyone gains differently, so really, don't worry about what people are telling you and try to block them out. the only opinion that matters is that of your doctor!

at my 20 week apt i was up 3 lbs. that was three weeks ago

At 22 weeks I was up 10lbs.... but really 7, because I lost 3lbs my first month of pregnancy.

At 22 weeks last pregnancy I was up 20-something pounds! Don't feel bad!

i'm 23 weeks and have gained 14 lbs. i don't like comparing myself to everyone on here because it makes me feel like i've gained too much! you are not alone.
