At what week was your scheduled c-section for?
Is it usually a week before, or can it be 2 weeks?

mine was done at 38weeks and 5days. the or was already booked for 39 weeks.

Mine was a little over 39 weeks.
I was due 1/16, it was scheduled for 1/11. It was up to the hospitals schedule, either going to be (friday) 1/8 or (monday) 1/11

Winthrop would not allow a c-section (unless it's an emergency!) before 39 weeks.

I am winthrop too and was told by my Dr. it will be booked for 39 weeks

Exactly 7 days before my EDD, so I guess 39 weeks. OBGYN said he wouldn't feel comfortable scheduling any earlier than.

DD#2 was ON my due date (I was hoping for a VBAC, that's why the last minute date).
DS was 39 weeks 2 days. Originally, my OB fit me into her schedule for 38 weeks 5 days and told me if anyone asked to tell them my due date was 10/29 (it was the 31st) because c-sections are not supposed to be performed before 39 weeks.

DS was 7 days
DD was 8 days
some hospitals will do 14 days, but they usually require some sort of medical reason for it

I had placenta previa, so my C-section was scheduled for 37w 4d.....but I had to do an amnio the day before to confirm DS's lung maturity for him to be delivered that early.

With my first it was scheduled on my EDD. We were waiting to see if I would go on my own but that wasnt happening and they were estimating DS to be pretty big (he was 9.14) so we scheduled him.
This time with a repeat, I am scheduled for 39w1d. My practice schedules on certain days after 39 weeks.

Exactly 1 week before my due date. The doctor said that 1 week is the earliest that it can be scheduled.

39 weeks. I don't think they can schedule before 39 weeks anymore.
Same for my doctor (unless there is a real medical reason for it)
My second was at 39w3 days. Would have been exactly 39w but my doc doesn't do them on Saturdays.
My first was at exactly 40w because she didn't want me going even a day later than my due date if I didn't go on my own (medical reasons)

39 weeks but they sent me to hospital at 38 week appointment because my blood pressure was a little high & he weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces. They said he was ready.
