I added pics...
None of the clothes we have for her fit. My MIL went to the store to buy a smaller size so we'd have something besides hospital clothes to bring her home in...
Humm... trying to add a pic so you can see - but it's to big...

In the end, it all worked out!
congrats! she's adorable.
as for the hospital, YES, write them a letter and let them know exactly how you feel...if for no other reason, so that you know you addressed it.
