Furniture/electronics straps bumpers for tables lock for stove lock for toilet (if you keep the bathroom door open) locks for cabinet doors covers for doorknobs cord keepers for loose cords power strip covers
If you can, get the outlet covers that have the slide outlets. They are easier for us to use and harder for the LOs to get their fingers into. DS is 16 mos old and can take the outlet cover plugs off the outlets

That's quite impressive! I am 33 years old and I have a hard time getting those plugs off!! Maybe I need the assistance of a 16 month old!

Re: Baby Proofing Help Please
We just made sure that DC won't get seriously hurt. IMHO, it's better to teach them (or let them learn on their own) that walking into a table will hurt. If they learn when they are young, they'll avoid it later when they can hurt themselves more. Other houses won't be baby-proofed, so if your house is "too safe", they won't learn boundaries.
Electrical outlet plug covers are a must. 110 volts is very dangerous. Gates for stairs is important for both directions (bottom of stairs and top). Any cabinets with chemicals needs to be locked.
Toilet locks are tricky when you have one potty-trained DC, and one who is a bit younger...

Re: Baby Proofing Help Please
We got outlet covers, magnetic cabinet locks, a stove lock, foam covers for objects with sharp edges, furniture straps, and outlet covers for those that have plugs in them.
You can go on One Step ahead if you want to do it online and see it all in one place.

We have these too, we put them on the outlets we use most often, so much easier than pulling the cover out when I am vacuuming.
