Re: Baby shower buffet menu
DH said the same thing but I don't want people to fill up on munchies too much as I need to serve lunch and dessert in a 3 hour window.
Do most people even eat crudite/dip and cheese/crackers? It always seems to be leftover when I go to parties.

Re: Baby shower buffet menu
Menu sounds good but I agree with substituting veggies and dips for one of the snacks.

I guess it depends how soon lunch will be served. If you are doing lunch once everyone arrives then it is fine to have light snacks, but if you are doing games or presents first, I'd have heavier snacks. But you're right often people fill up before lunch is even served.

Re: Baby shower buffet menu
I think for a small group, you have extra desserts. If you want, you could cut out the cream puffs/eclairs.
I think a dip would be good but not necessary - I think more so if the guest list expands to the 17 rather than if it stays at 10.
Sounds like a delish spread for the meal!
Good Luck

Re: Baby shower buffet menu
Thanks for all the advice
I don't wanna look like I'm skimping on food but I don't want a lot of leftovers either.
