Re: Baby Shower Question (Twins related)
one of dh's friends from childhood had triplets. I could not attend the shower but sent a gift.
I bought her a diaper bag and packed it full of new mommy essentials.
I never even thought that I'd have to give more then one gift.

Re: Baby Shower Question (Twins related)
I would not think that you should get 2. I would set a budget and if I saw two things that are within the range then I would get 2, otherwise I think it's fine to get 1 nice gift.

Re: Baby Shower Question (Twins related)
I think it depends on what you plan to give. I don't think you need to give 2 swings or car seats, or bouncer seats etc (unless you want to or can afford to) but if you are giving smaller items - blankets, clothing, toys, etc I would give double so that each would have one. I would decide what you can afford to spend then see what the mom needs and go from there.

Re: Baby Shower Question (Twins related)
It depends on what you are going to give. If you are giving clothes - then yes. If you are giving a bigger item, I didn't expect anyone to buy two of them. I also didn't register for two of everything. I'd look at the registry and see what you can afford, just like you would at any other shower.

Re: Baby Shower Question (Twins related)
I had a sprinkle for the twins and many brought two outfits, but others brought just one gift ( diapers, a bumbo seat...) and I never thought twice about it ( 2 vs. one) , maybe cause it was just a sprinkle, but I dont think it matters at all.
