Background check questions?
For anyone with any experience in this:
How long does a backround check normally take?
Is the person usually the top choice?

Regualr background checks will take a few days (contacting references, verifying employment, etc..). Criminal checks can take longer. I would say if they are doing the background check you are the candidate or at the very least being strongly considered. Good Luck

Thanks...it's been over TWO weeks! I know it took a bit to hear back from one of my references (he is the GM of a channel), but I know he talked to them last Tuesday.
