Bagel store vent
Why don't they ever put a reasonable amount of butter on a bagel? I swear they may as well not even put butter on! But if you ask for cream cheese you get practically half a pound!

I used to work at a bagel store- you would've loved me! Slathered in butter. I was actually told not to put so much on, but to put more cream cheese on. I could cover 3 bagels with cream cheese with the amounts they'd make me put on!

Mmmm the way it should be. I just went to my daily bagel store- Hot & Crusty. It took a few tries, but I trained them. Now I get just the right amount of butter every time.

Mmmm the way it should be. I just went to my daily bagel store- Hot & Crusty. It took a few tries, but I trained them. Now I get just the right amount of butter every time.
I would love a Hot and Crusty.

That happens when I get toasted, but I usually don't get it toasted.

I absolutely hate that they put a ton of cream cheese on my bagels! I end up taking half of it off... Such a waste!

I guess because butter keeps longer than cream cheese? I've wondered this too & this is the only explanation I can come up with.

Hmm, I wonder why. That seems crazy pants to me- just order less cream cheese!
Also, 9 times out of 10, if they are taking butter from a big container, it's margarine. Our bagel store used margarine, but it was delicious. But I hate margarine any other time.

I feel like when youask for extra butter, they put a giant mound of butter and if you don't say anything, you get a microscopic amount. I don't get why its that way. Don't the people that work there ever actually EAT a bagel?!?!?! Just make it NORMAL!!!!

WHAT???????? Not acceptable!!! Some people don't like to eat margarine (myself included) - I would be PISSED if I got it when I asked for butter!
