Best all-inclusive resort?
Thinking of taking DH on a 40th birthday trip with some friends in January.
I really want to go to Cabo, but the travel time is so long for only staying 4 or 5 nights, and we really don't want to do Cancun since DH's sister is getting married there in October.
What all inclusive did you LOVE?
We have already stayed at the Excellence in Punta Cana so that's out, although I wouldn't object to going back, I would like to try somewhere else we haven't been. DH says no to Jamaica too.
Anywhere else I may be not thinking of?

Re: Best all-inclusive resort?
Some of the all-inclusives we have stayed at are:
Turtle Beach, Barbados - Loved it and loved the Island! Jet Blue flies direct to Barbados. RIU Paradise Island - Not a bad hotel and loved Paradise Island. A much cheaper option than Atlantis. Dreams Cabo - Loved the hotel, didn't love Cabo. Not worth the flight with connections IMO.
We just booked Sandals Halcyon in St. Lucia for October. Jet Blue also flies there direct and that's what made us pick St. Lucia.

Re: Best all-inclusive resort?
Have you looked at the Sandals resorts? DH and I HM at the Bahamas one, but they have resorts across the caribbean. It's adults one (Beaches is the family oriented one), the service is outstanding, the food was delicious and the amenties are plentiful!

Re: Best all-inclusive resort?
I know a couple who stayed at the Rui in Aruba and loved it. I saw her pictures and it was gorgeous (the hotel). We went to Aruba for our honeymoon and loved it there.

Re: Best all-inclusive resort?
We stayed at the RIU Cancun Palace last year and just came back from the RIU Palace in Cabo and thought they were both great. The best price for the dollar. Food was great, place was spotless, etc.
