Best bottles for breastfeeding moms
I've read that Avent and Dr. Browns are best but my experience with Avent is that they leak a lot and Dr. Browns has so many pieces. I was interested in the Born Free bottles. Anyone heard or know if they are good. I plan to BF LO until at least 3 months, hopefully 6. But I also will most likely pump so DH can feed the baby too.
Thoughts???

My friends suggested both Born Free and Dr Brown's. It's best to put a few different bottles on your registry...every baby is different.

People recommended Avent, Born Free, and Tommee bottles. I just put a bunch of different ones on my registry and figure we'll see what works.

I'm using Dr. Brown's and love them! The pieces don't seem to bother me.
I registered for the Avent ones too and HATE THEM!!! They leak like crazy and DS gets way too much air when drinking from them. We had one bad night in the last week and that's the night we used the Avent bottles.

I've actually heard that these are great and my SIL's lactation consultant said the nipple flow is most like BF ing

Re: Best bottles for breastfeeding moms
I have been using the Born Free bottles for about a week and a half and am very happy with them. I bought the Avent ones too and don't think I will even use them.

We used the playtex drop-ins and DS had no problem going between bottle and boob.
We also tried the Avent ones, and I hated them, the leaked horribly.

I used Dr. Brown's, it really wasn't that big of a deal to clean the pieces.

Re: Best bottles for breastfeeding moms
Thanks everyone. I guess I will register for two different types and let LO decide which one is best. But the consensus does seem to be that Avent leak. Interestingly though, it's one of the ones Baby Bargains recommends.
