Re: BEYOND angry--how would you react to this?

i really dont think you should be mad. i would think that is expected, especially if you are going to be out most of the year or all of the year.

the perm sub has to be able to make it her own so SHE is comortable. Do you have any idea how hard it is to teach and to make it yours when you are working around other peoples stuff. she isnt taking over or trying to take your job but its very uncomfortable when you are working in that kind of a situation. I would have moved stuff too.

i would however be mad that she messed up all the wiring. she screwed herself with that.

I can see how you would be very upset. It seems as though she changed everything.

I do believe that she did need to make the enviroment her own so to speak, but I cant see why she would change everything. I could maybe see changing the orientation of the students desks, but not every aspect of it. I would let your principal know that you are unhappy. Just tell her that you went in to help her and she disconnected and moved everything that took you and your husband so long to set up and that you hope when you return it is back to the way you left it. Also, you have every right to let the girl who took over know that you are not happy and would like everything back to the way it was. Good luck!

I know the sub needs to feel comfortable too and she will be working in the room for a long time but I would be very upset. Right or wrong, it would bother me alot to find everything in my room changed.
