Birthday in a Box - Vendor Rave for Customer Service
My son had his 3rd bday party over the weekend at a bowling alley. I thought it would be cute to get bowling pin water bottles and decorate them with the children's name for favors. I searched all over for these pins, and all but one charge a ridicolous amount for shipping. All except Birthday in a Box. I had never ordered from this company but I was able to purchase 15 pins for only $7. I read the reviews and puchased. Well they arrive and it was obvious they were very cheaply made. I showed DH and he said they weren't that bad and to use them anyway. Well long story short, we (by we I mean DH) decorated them and gave them as favors. I did a review on the pins saying I was disappointed with how cheaply they were made, but felt they were good enough to still use. Well the company wrote me and told me they were sorry they weren't what I expected and are refunding me the entire amount plus shipping. I said I wouldn't order from them again, but to refund me without even be asked rakes high on my list. Just thought I share.

Glad they offered you a solution but you couldn't possibly have expected anything decent for less than fifty cents a piece...

Lynn, I paid $3 a piece. I didn't expect perfection but a decent water bottle. The $7 was shipping not the cost of the bottles.
