$25-$30 for like classmates and for closest friends $30-$75.

Our school circle is full of generous people. Gifts range from $40-$60. For my friends children I usually spend $50-$75 but I'm bringing multiple children to those parties.
I've tried giving less to classmates but they don't get the hint and still give us generous gifts and then I feel badly lol
