I just use warm tap water. We did this with DD as well and never had any problems.

I always kept a Brita Pitcher of water on the counter so I had room temp filtered water at all times.

Filtered water from the fridge is what we used for both girls. We have a filtration system on our water line and also on our fridge itself.

Re: bottled water or boiled (powdered formula)

I used boiled tap water at first and as he got older switched to regular tap water.
(FYI: Bottled water is not regulated under the same standards as tap water. I drank GASOLINE in bottled water and it was "legal" per bottled water standards. I only used it for my son if I HAD to and I would taste it first.)

we are crazy, we boil, cool, then filter the water, but our parents were crazy too and its hard to break the habit Chat Icon

I honestly think straight tap water would be fine.

We use Brita water. I asked our ped. she said Brita or tap.

I should leave it out, I always put it in the fridge.

CVS has them for $20. You dont need a huge one since they only eat like 20-30 ounces per day and you end up dumping water daily and re-filling Chat Icon

Re: bottled water or boiled (powdered formula)

filtered from fridge.

most water on LI does not need to be boiled. you can check with your ped. to be sure. my SIL who lived way out East had well water and ped. recommended bottled water for baby.

We use room temp. britta water. I was using that baby water you buy in a jug from the store but my ped told me it has too much floride in it.

I've used the nursery water from BRU or some bottled water that is filtered. I think nestle and poland springs are filtered. its been fine.
