Breakfast for toddler question
What non-dairy foods do your toddlers have for breakfast?
I think DD has too much dairy. Her breakfast is fruit with either cheese or yogurt or cereal in milk. I'm looking for some alternatives (other than waffles)! Thanks.

Re: Breakfast for toddler question
My 2 year old breakfast is usually some kind of fruit, cereal (no milk), pancakes, bagel, or waffles. Out of that list, fruit is the only thing i know she'll def eat for every meal if i let her.

Re: Breakfast for toddler question
I wish Michael would eat other things for breakfast but he loves eggs and could eat them everyday. I try giving him cereal without milk, waffle, pancake, toast, etc. and he just picks at those.

Re: Breakfast for toddler question
Sometimes I'll give her an english muffin, or one of my homebaked goods, like banana bread or muffins. Or sometimes just fruit.
Usually though it is cereal with milk or cottage cheese.

Re: Breakfast for toddler question
i give DS his oatmeal mixed with cut up bananas or strawberries during the week. On the weekend he will eat breakfast with DH and I, its usually eggs with organic waffles/pancakes. I just started to wean him off of babyfood so he is no longer on that stuff anymore.

This is Andrew's breakfast, minus the cereal. He is a CARB fiend! He mostly eats mini-pancakes or waffles. I try to give him eggs once a week.

Re: Breakfast for toddler question
I make scrambled eggs with cheese, they have oatmeal (usually mixed with applesauce), pancakes, waffles, cereal (sometimes dry, sometimes with milk), pop tarts , whole wheat french toast, fruits (mostly bananas, cantaloupe, blueberries, grapes, apples, etc).

WHat about Farina? My daughter eats it for breakfast every day, with different kind of berries mixed in.
