But Walt was a different man in the desert, he was still money hungry. Walt back then wouldn't have killed the uncle until he knew where the money was being kept. I think at that time he wanted Jesse to die.
I explained my reasoning on why Walt wouldn't think Jesse partnered with the hicks above. :)
Your interpretation is just way too far fetched for me. I disagree about it and think you're reaching. Obviously that is how you saw things and everyone interprets differently. In the end we shall have to agree to disagree on Walt's motivations and intentions with Jesse.
Yup. Just like the ending to Soprano's, and so many other shows. It is interesting to me because all my friends just assumed that Walt went up there not with the intention to kill Jesse, it wasn't until on here I read the other side.

Re: Breaking Bad Series Finale 9/29 [Spoilers, obviously]
Thank God this finale & series doesn't leave as many unanswered questions as Sopranos!! That would drive me crazy.
I watched it again last night, and the Walt & Jesse scene hurt my heart again. Jesse's face at first when he sees him, looking him in the eye and then avoiding them, looking all around. The quickness with which he kills Todd. That triumph as he's driving away as fast as he can.
I noticed something else too. This is Marie talking on the phone to Skylar. What's missing?
Purple. All the color has gone out of her life since Hank was killed.
Her pants and drapes might be purple, I can't really tell. But I know her teapot and kitchen utensils were purple before, because I remember admiring them.
Vince said that he intentionally infused certain colors with certain people, and that those changed based on their personality changes. Innocents wore blue (Skylar in the beginning, Flynn), Jesse wore red and yellow ("crazy" colors), Grey Matter people wore bland tans and beiges, Heisenberg wore green. At one point, Skylar and Walt were wearing tans when they were in the money and running the car wash.
I love things like this, how so much thought went into everything.

That I what was different about Marie's house! I could not pinpoint what it was. I have a cold and a newborn so I admit my judgment is clouded. I wish I hadn't deleted it off my dvr, but if Walt did believe that Jesse wa up there i feel that is a flaw in the script. Just my personal opinion.
And yeah, sopranos was a ba example. My dh and I try to pretend that finale never happened lol
