At first I wanted to vomit.
But then I remembered that all ice cream is from breast milk-just not human breast milk.
However, even thinking of it rationally still makes me queasy

i'd try it.
breast milk has higher fat content than cow's milk and generally the higher fat content in the ice cream, the better it tastes.

I can't get into the link- but where do they get the BM from?
Random lactating women?
How is that sanitary? Are these women tested for HIV etc?

I fixed the link. The article says they are tested the same way people are screened when donating blood.

however, the one thing i am good at in this life is making breastmilk -- this could be my ticket to easy street! i have over 600 ounces in my freezer ready to go and can make over 40 ounces a day. . . let's DO THIS!! where do I sign up!

Yes, and the meat that we eat comes from cows, pigs, turkeys and chickens, not humans

There was a restaurant in Chelsea that served cheese made with the owners wife's breast milk back in the spring. If I remember correctly the health department said that they did not forbid it but advised the owner to refrain from serving it in his restaurant.
The whole idea grosses me out. Being lactose intolerant & remembering how sick I use to get from eating or drinking anything that contained dairy it all just freaks me out. Thank goodness for Lactaid pills.

I still wouldn't try it, but I'm just saying.
