Exactly!
And I agree that if they have BM surplus, plenty of babies need the milk instead of adults looking for a novelty.

however, the one thing i am good at in this life is making breastmilk -- this could be my ticket to easy street! i have over 600 ounces in my freezer ready to go and can make over 40 ounces a day. . . let's DO THIS!! where do I sign up!
Me too! I could use the extra cash, £10 for 15 oz of BM, I could be making (calculator in brain) upwards of £30 a day! 30 Squids!!!

And what i don't get....is that there are milk banks always looking for donated breast milk for babies who are preemies or immune compromised babies, even third world countries that desperately need it...yet they are now producing ice cream with it for adult consumption. Very expensive ice cream may I add!
I just don't get it.

One more post from me...this ice cream is actually quite cheap, a pint of Ben & Jerrys costs upwards of £4, thats about $7. Reason number 1 why I never eat premuim ice cream

Didn't it say a serving was 14 british pounds?? I could be wrong, that is what i read...which is about $21 or so!!....unless i read the symbol wrong?

I just can't. I get that it probably tastes good. but I can't bring myself to try another woman's breast milk except for my own mother when I was a baby.

On a serious note - I read that they are advertising this as "organic and all natural" - how can they possibly say that unless they are following these woman around 24/7 watching what they eat, the medications they take and what enviornmental things they are exposed to etc. They say they only screen like a blood donor which doesn't involve anything like that. Also, i think i read that these are just random women that responded to an ad. I'd rather stick with the cow that is kept in a fenced in area and you know exactly what it is being fed and when it is organic that it is not getting antibioitics etc. it might not be 100% but, it is better than 0% monitoring. I find this to be totally disgusting and, dangerous actually.
