Breeched babies... BTDT moms come on in.
So DS is breeched... of course I'm 32 weeks so he has time to get into position on his own.
Did anyone's Dr's give them suggestions as to how to get their LO to turn on their own?
I've heard a bag of frozen veggies on his head... music between the legs, and my fave, have DH talk between your legs (seriously ).
Anyone ever try any of these and have them work?
Was the Dr. able to move the baby if the baby didn't move on it's own?

You should mail MrsMcD she was able to get her baby to turn through some yoga positions and also through some specific kind of BDing LOL

A friend of mine did lunges and also a yoga type position....get on all fours and bend your back up like a cat, then relax it. It worked for her!

I agree with the yoga positions...my yoga teacher has given people positions/things they can do to help the baby move (but I never pay attention because is head down...sorry!!). Maybe you could take a class to find some of them out??

BDing - I am not sure what it is but I know that she mentioned it. . . I kind of remember it being something that was useful during TTC, but its kind of a vague memory - I remember it was fun though right? Yeah, definitely fun . . .

I did everything with DS. all the exercises, the music down there.
Nothing worked.
I had a scheduled C-section and it was totally fine, nothing to be scared of at all.

I was watching Dr. Oz recently and they were talking about a specific type of acupuncture that was used to turn babies- they do the needles in your back and then they put this special insense to burn and supposedly it helps

My friend actually did this in the middle of her (empty) classroom, at 9months preggo, to show me! I just looked at her like she was crazy! But, it worked and she had a really fast labor, so it may be worth it!

I have done 20 of these every night for my entire pregnancy! Hopefully they work! LOL (for an easy labor)

Ive done everything short of doing a handstand in a pool. Baby has been breech since 26 weeks and still is. I have c-section schedule in three weeks. We opted not to have the dr try and turn him/her. I'm still holding out some hope though.

Re: Breeched babies... BTDT moms come on in.
I went through this too. I tried everything. Light, music, yoga, different positions, guided imagery/meditation, etc. Well, I tried almost everything- except the incense/acupuncture thing (it's called moxibustion). The acupuncturist I called never called me back and I gave up at that point. My doctor would not try the version saying it was possibly dangerous to the baby. My DS never turned and I ended up going into labor early and had a C-section. Doctors said he was so wedged up there like a taco, there was no way he would've been able to turn.
Hope you have a different experience than me and your baby turns!

Abby was breech until 35 weeks. She turned. I ended up with an emergency c-section anyway for a different reason. Its important to keep one's options open.

DS was a footling breech baby. I tried everything and he did not turn. DD was transverse breech. I had a repeat c/s for her.

Re: Breeched babies... BTDT moms come on in.
My lamaze instructor said to shine a bright light "down there" and while playing music down there and the baby should be attracted to the light and sound and turn naturally.
Sounds a little silly but it might just do the trick!
