Britax Car Seat owners...please come in!
I am in the midst of registering and would like your input about Britax.
My Baby Bargains book says they are a good brand for convertible seats. The Roundabout only goes up to 40 lbs and the Marathon goes up to 65 lbs.
Which one did most of you register for? The Marathon is $50 more expensive, and I am debating if it's worth it to register for it.

DS is on the bigger size and we got the Decathlon (same as Marathon).

I have the Roundabout. Looking back, I should have gotten the bigger one.
Now, after 2 years, I still have to get the bigger one. So now i will have two carseats that are $300+, instead of just paying the extra $50 up front.

i have the marathon. no complaints and then u dont have ti get a booster. it goes up to 65 pounds i think so its worth the money

I have the roundabout. Looking at how big DD is, I probably should have registered for the Marathon but I felt guilty about the price at the time. We will probably need to get a booster seat eventually..
I have no complaints about the car seat itself, though.

I regret not getting the Boulevard for that reason.
We have the Roundabout, and it works great for us. I didn't want the one that went to 65 pounds b/c I figured that by the time DD was 40+ and too big for the Roundabout, there would be new advances in techonolgy that I would want in the booster seat that I'd buy her. Just my thoughts.

Originally I registered for the Roundabout because of the price difference. But then exchanged it for the Marathon. It is worth the price difference and will probably keep you from needing a dif carseat in the future.

I recently bought a boulevard--the newest one that clicks and I love it! IT has the side impact and goes up to 65 pounds. It was $$$ but worth it!

For those of you that got the Boulevard, did people buy that for you for your shower?
I think I am leaning towards the Marathon because the Boulevard is $300+, and I am nervous about the price, but I also want to make sure I get the right car seat.

Ditto for us. Technically, DS has a Wizard, but that was the SIP model before the Boulevard. DD has the Boulevard.
BTW, the Britax Diplomat also has the Side Impact Protection, but it's a bit smaller and cheaper than the Boulevard.

I have the Boulevard---I didn't register for a convertible carseat----I waited because I couldn't decide---ended up getting a boulevard online for less than BBB or BRU
