thanks sooo much!! i bought one myself!
i think it's wrong for people to take advantage of a good deal only to turn around, jack up the price and sell it on ebay. jmo.
Why? I don't think she is going to turn around and sell it for 4x the price, but if she turns out to not use it, why shouldn't she sell it?
supply and demand, NOTHING wrong with it

i have a question... How come when you go to the Target website without clicking the link posted here, the same seats are priced higher? its not a scam right? i really want to buy one but my BF is hesitant.

they are the same price on the target website
go to traget.com
type britax marathon in the search. The last 2 seats shown are the sale ones

I think you are looking at another model. I went directly to Traget.com and searched Britax Marathon and it came up at the same price.

Oh my god I could scream. I just bought 2 from a different site at $189/each because I thought THAT was a deal. I could just cry right now...
I was thinking of trying to buy 2 from here and return the other 2 but would have to pay for shipping, etc. and then I read on another site that they could have the price wrong and then they will cancel all orders (which happened to her with a glider), so knowing my luck that would happen after I already returned the other 2!!! I guess I will just hope for all that did get this great deal, that it is legit and you got the best deal of the year!!!
It's actually illegal to NOT honor the price. I have printed the email order confirmation as a backup. I will be ready to fight it with the Attorney General.

I'm only PG, so don't know too much about this, but do the babies go straight to this seat from the hospital? It talks about fitting babies 5-60 lbs., but people are talking about using an infant carrier first?

They can.
Most people choose to use the carrier b/c it is more convenient then the convertible.

you CAN put the baby in this seat right from day 1 but I think it is easier in the beginning to have them in the infant seat so you do not have to wake them to bring them from the car if they fall asleep in the infant seat
I moved my dd to a convertible car seat at 5 months
