I thought it was this week. But so far I haven't seen any being picked up. (I'm in Lake Ronkonkoma).
ETA: The website says they will pick up leaves and brush next week, so maybe they will also be picking up the tress.

You put it out on Monday and it gets picked up with the brush collection.
They took ours right away....
