BTDT C section moms- pre- surgical testing?
I didn't do this with my girls bc I delivered early. But what do they do? I'm assuming bloodwork. It's at south side if that makes a difference.

Blood work and weight. It's pretty quick . I thought you were delivering at North Shore Manhasset?!

No i wish! i heard its great! My dr delivers at south side and good Sam. I'm not a fan of good Sam.
They told me 1-2 hrs. So I'm assuming a lot of waiting around. Lovely.

BTDT C section moms- pre- surgical testing?
I just did this and it wasnt too bad... Was done in about 1.5 hrs. They will do bloodwork, vitals, explain how to prep before coming in, handle all copays/insurance.

Urine sample, blood work, vitals and questions. It is quick, you will probably be in the waiting room forever (unless you have an early morning apt).
I delivered both my kids at Southside, they were fantastic there! You will be in good hands. Good Luck!

Mine was at Winthrop but super quick. Maybe because I had like the first appt of the morning, or at least one of the first..... I was in and out. Just bloodwork.

Thanks for asking this. I just scheduled my appointment and was wondering what they will do and how long it would take. Now I am glad I got the 8am appointment.
