BTDT moms- labor question
Out of curiosity, if my water breaks, will I have time and be able to drive myself home from work? I work about 30-40 minutes away from home and then still another 10 minutes to the doc/hospital. I'm still working and am due next thursday and just hope that whatever the situation, I'll be able to drive myself home.
Any input ?

I wouldn't worry about it... chances are you will feel labor before your water actually breaks (I read only about 10% of women have their water break before labor).
But, if it does happen you should have time to drive home and get your stuff together. A coworker of mine had her water break in the office and drove herself home... she didn't have the baby until late that night.

I agree. My water never even broke- I had to have it broken at the hopspital. I had contractions on and off for 24 hours before I even had to call the Dr and head to L&D. Most of the time you will know something is brewing before your water breaks...
