BTDT moms of DC who had tear duct surgery?
Just curious if I should be concerned.....
DD had tear duct surgery in June and her eyes have been fine since BUT
she has had a cold for the last week or two and now all of a sudden her left eye is getting a little gunky again 
Does this mean the surgery didn't work

Kaydyn had the surgery at 14 months old and is 3.5 now and hasn't had a problem. They put tubes in to keep her tear duct open, but said they would prob fall out within 3-6months as she got bigger.
She hasn't had a really bad cold since the surgery though so I'm not sure. Maybe try calling the doc and see what their suggestion is.
