surgery for clogged tear duct?
Has anyone had to go through this with their DC? My friend's DD (she's 13 months I think) is having surgery for her clogged duct this week and I was hoping that someone here had experience with it. TIA!

Re: surgery for clogged tear duct?
My daughter had the surgery - a stent was placed into the duct. It ended up popping out while we were on vacation but in the two weeks it was in her duct, it cleared it up and we haven't had an issue ever since.
FM me if you have any questions!

Re: surgery for clogged tear duct?
My son had the surgery at a year. They had to open up both sides (he didn't need the stents). He woke up a little cranky after, but he's almost 3 now and both eyes have been fine ever since.
