BTDT moms re: potty training

DS is pretty much fully trained as far as peepee goes- He hasn't had any accidents (not even during nap) and tells us he needs to go, even if we forget to remind him...

Im wondering how much longer it will take to get the pooping on the potty thing down???

He isn't scared to go- if the timing is right- he will do poopie BUT for the most part he doesn't know he needs to go...

How long after they get the pee-pee thing down does poopie follow?

Re: BTDT moms re: potty training

Sorry - no help. Mine pretty much did them both at the same time. He started doing peepee here and there months before he trained but I didn't push training since I had a newborn and I wasn't ready even though I think he was. Once he did the poopie one day - then I pushed training (he asked to wear underwear forever so I knew I had to) and he did them both the same time. In took two weeks or so to get it down but it has been about 2 months now and so far so good. He only wanted to do poop at first on the small potty so took me about 2 weeks to move him to the real toilet.

No help here either because DS poopy potty trained a full 6 months before he decided to not be lazy and pee train. We just put him on the toilet every night after dinner because that is when he pooped most of the time. He trained easily for poops and partly because he hated being in a poop diaper.
