BTDT moms when it was time to put away the baby items...
Like: swing, highchair, exersauser etc..
Do you wish you would have saved the boxes to these items to store away?
Im just trying to figure out if im wasting space holding onto these boxes to store these items back in the box or will i never get them back in? I was trying to avoid putting them in plastic bags when the time comes

No, we took it apart and got big bins to store them in. For the really big stuff it wasn't even worth keeping the box b/c you'd totally have to take it apart to get it to fit in there again. We covered it and put it away in our storage room in the basement. All parts, screws, etc were put into ziplock bags and labeled. We also kept all the instructions and put it with each top put away.

We registered for all gender neutral items and I did save the boxes because alot of thing were in great condition and I will be using again. We also have a storage room in our basement because they do take up alot of space.
Bassinet: 3 months Swing: 5 months Infant Seat: 11 months Walker: 11 months Exsaucer: Soon right now he likes to play with the toys on the outside but refuses to be in it. LOL
ETA: It was a PIA to fit back into the boxes.

Re: BTDT moms when it was time to put away the baby items...
We put the swing away when DS was about 8 months old. He was pulling on the mobile and just didn't want to be in it anymore. Same thing with the bouncer (although I kept trying to put him in it and he was just trying to roll out). At 2 the high chair is still out. We use it to keep DS #1 safe while coloring and it allows me to get some stuff done while he's in it. Exersaucer we put away when DS was about 14 months and really walking. Again he wanted no part of it.
We saved all of the boxes and have since thrown them out. The only thing I find useful is the plastic cover to the activity mat. We just stored things in plastic bags.
