BTDT movie theater party moms or anyone creative
DS 9th birthday party will be at the movie theater to see Puss in Boots.
I have no idea what to do for favors.
Anyone of have any ideas? Moms that had parties at the theaters, what did you give away?

You can sometimes find plastic popcorn containers in the dollar section of Target. You could fill it with some "movie theater" candy or microwave popcorn?

We did an at home movie party and gave out the plastic popcorn tubs filled with candy, microwave popcorn and chocolate movie lollipops, wrapped in cello and put a cute favor tag on. They have those tubs at Dollar Tree and Target dollar spot

Re: BTDT movie theater party moms or anyone creative
I like the popcorn tub idea but I have 33 kids invited (unsure the exact amount coming since the invites haven't gone out just yet) and unfortunately it's going to cost to get just the tubs alone. I don't have a big budget with favors. I guess I should have mentioned that in the OP. Sorry.
I am going to take this idea and maybe work with it to get it to be affordable.

They sell red and white striped paper bags that say popcorn on them at Party City. I think you get like 15 in a pack or so.

I would usually go with the theme of the movie. Maybe something along the lines of this: http://www.startrackinc.com/cgi-shopper/search.cgi/startrack/ezshopper?user_id=3471-20110903&1_option=3&0=ST-1267&database=dbase1.exm&template=temp2.htm
If it's around Halloween, I would go with Halloween stuff (NOT CANDY!): http://www.startrackinc.com/cgi-shopper/search.cgi/startrack/ezshopper?user_id=3471-20110903&1_option=3&1=halloween&database=dbase1.exm&template=temp.htm&output_number=15&records_in_row=3

When we went to a movie party, the favors where candy and pop corn (in normal goodie bags) and glow sticks...it was a big hit with all the kids.
