c-section recovery question...updated at bottom
I had a c-section last monday and they sent me home thursday with hydrocodone and it hasn't been even toucging the pain. It hurts and burns like you wouldn't believe and now as of friday night it is pianful to pee (it hurts way up there) not burning but painful. My temp friday was 99.4 which is high for me, saturday it was 98.6 and just now it was 99.2. Does this sound normal to you or should i call the OB?

Re: c-section recovery question...
I don't know about the temp and the hurt and burning, that never happened to me either time. But the painful urination is most likely from the catheter, I had that symptom after both my sections.

Re: c-section recovery question...
If you have any doubts, please call your OB/GYN. I know that the drs consider a fever anything over 100.3, but if something is "off" it's better to be safe than sorry.

Agree! Most likely it normal, but you are a very important person to a certain little someone so you need to get checked out especially if you feel like something might be wrong.

Thank you ladies. Just got back from the doctor and the incision looks fine, the glue and inside stitches are still holding but they gave me Demerol for pain instead of continuing the Hydrocodone. Thank you for your help. I feel much better now.
