I would call them & see if you can get On Demand on another night or credit to your bill. It's worth a shot. They were out for almost 24 hours.

It's pretty obvious that their servers couldn't handle the demand.

Think about it... when you have a paid service and all of a sudden give it FREE for everyone... that takes a huge toll on their network. I doubt they "wanted" this to happen.

The thought was there IMO and kudos to them. I am sure if you call them and said you couldn't get a movie because it was locked up, they will throw you a freebie.

we were able to watch the hurt locker - great movie - I was so glad to see it before the award went out, so I was really rooting for it!


DH immediately said that he was glad that he didn't work for cablevision yesterday. I can only imagine how many thousands of people tried to watch movies yesterday.
