Cablevision Triple Play Users
I'm currently a Cablevision subscriber for just internet and cable, no phone. Right now, I pay $140 / month for computer plus two cable boxes (just family cable, no HBO or DVR).
I'm thinking if I scrap one of the cable boxes and add phone (which I need anyway), I can get the Triple Play for $99.
My question is, I know the $99 is an intro price (for the first year, I think). How much will it go up after that (with txes, fees, etc.)?

Cablevision Triple Play Users
Somehow I was paying less than $99 -- I think it was because before we moved, we had Verizon they didn't catch on that Verizon wasn't available in our new area so they gave it to us for less than the $99. After the year, it jumped up to over $180.
This was with Phone, Internet (no boost), 2 boxes (one w/DVR, one w/o), Showtime, Starz, Encore + On Demand for each.
ETA: When it went up, DH called and tried to cancel all of the premium channels and basically everything but the DVR and internet but they gave us another deal so now we pay $130 for the same stuff we had before.

They have a promo right now for $84.95 for all three services. Call and ask about that.

after the promo, it's $145 i believe.
it's $25 for phone, but you get a $20 discount for having the triple play so it's just $5 more for phone (adn that doesn't expire)

I just cancelled our Starz/Encore and DVR and we should be back down to about $102/month. We have 4 cable boxes.

I just finished my promo price which was $70/month for all three services. With taxes and fees my total bill was $83/month.
It just went up now from a total of $83/month to $130/month. For all three services it's a great price still but we are going to call to try and get it down just a little.............every penny saved helps.

so maybe i'm wrong ... this is what i remember it being way-back-when, when i first got the triple play (years ago) so it's quite possible i remembered incorrectly.
