Did any of you have the triple play with Cablevision...
TV, Internet and Phone and get rid of the phone? I am questioning whether we need the phone since DH and I always use our cells phones. It's not a land line and if it were I would keep it just in case of a power outage or something else...

Yes I have it. We wanted to get rid of the phone as well, but then the price drastically changes because it's no longer the "Triple Play". In the end we decided to stick with it. We felt it was always good to have a back up...we both always forget to charge our phones.

That's right, I didn't think to factor in the price change. Well, then I may have to keep the phone then. Argh....

We have all 3 and considered dropping the phone for the same reason you said. Turns out we wouldn't save any money. We are saving 20 a month by having all 3 and the phone costs 20 so it ends up being the same price either way
